Thomas Partey

Yep, this thread having posts on non-Matchdays is a big worry, everytime.

Sorry.

Yeah, it’s either rape news or injury news.

Going to be a fucking bad day for Arsenal fans either way

Partey keeps impressing me with his progressive passing. Followed the guy from his time at Atleti but never knew he was this good at spotting passes.
It’s why I’m sopen to excusing the few times his risk taking from deep. When he gets you from defence to in and around the box like that you go for it.
Unbelievable player.

Had a shit game today, mind

Hahahaha i take that back

When he’s on he’s absolutely sublime to watch in the centre of the park.

His weaknesses are health and those occasionally periods where he gets sloppy on the ball.

And the rape charge looming over his head lol

TP knew it was in this time round as he’d done it before. He’s wheeling away Ronaldinho style before it hits the back of the net

Completely forgotten about that tbh, the less I hear of it the better.

Quality at times today

Said it when he was being criticised in his first season that he tries to pass between the lines and he genuinely tries to make risky passes. In the first season it didn’t work a lot because of our positioning, shape and the quality of some of the players. He suffered a lot as well because he didn’t have the Xhaka and Odegaard midfield who can both receive the ball in space.

He’s come on so much in the last 12 months and a lot of that has to do with the way the team shape themselves and the quality of player we have now to receive the ball in dangerous areas.

Thought he stunk in the first half, quality in the second. We need him to stay fit and injury-free to give us any chance of challenging this season.

Rodri is better but I take back saying Fabinho is ahead of Partey.

He’s brilliant.
