Me2. Was feeling Somewhat excited for the season. Cant really wrap My head around Party doing this. Seemed like a quite likeable Guy with no need to abuse his power. Gutted.
One accusation could be shrugged off. Multiple accusations and you know the accused has been up to some sort of malicious behavior.
Surely the club have to suspend him, pending the police investigation.

I was friends with someone who beat his wife, never had a clue and it was a horrific bombshell. Needless to say I sacked him from our charity organisation but even when we did the right thing, the ill feeling towards us and the shame we all felt remained for some time.
I would think our players are absolutely shattered by this. I feel for them too but obviously (and I can’t stress this enough) nothing compared to what the victims are still living with.

Yeah, don’t think we’ll do what Brighton or West Ham did.
I think the Ozil, Auba, Guendo and other situations show the club can cut anyone at any time if needed.

I’m talking about IF it was him, and he’s been arrested on three counts of rape, then the club surely have no choice.

Last year I found out my older cousin apparently beat his wife and kids. I had no idea until his son called the police and had him arrested. It was confirmed by both of his brothers that he had been drinking heavily and abusing his entire family. He’s now divorced and estranged from them and I haven’t talked to him since.

The radio silence from Partey and his entourage is strange. Most players who did fit the profile randomly posted some sort of update to clear their names I imagine.
It’s a bit pointless if the papers can’t name the player for legal reasons and then his employers come out and announce it instead.
