He will probably sign a new contract.
Also I like whoever changed the thread title.

He has a release clause of Ā£45mā¦well within our price range! Lots of reports about this at the moment, I get the frustrationā¦I want this announced already, but there has to be some basis to this one. Several reports today, including the Daily Mailā¦
I have to say I will judge Partley a little of he decides to come here.
Like why? Weāre shit. He has his pick of clubs in europe, even better PL clubs.
Like when Cambiasso joined Leicester city after Inter. Is he looking for one last payday before retirement?
Iām sceptical letās say.
He was class for them wasnāt he?
If he comes here itāll be because he doesnāt have his pick of clubs in Europe. Like when we signed Auba. I wouldnāt judge a player for that too much.
He was their best player and won their player of the season. Terrible comparison elec
Cambiasso has an amazing season for Leicester. They desperately wanted to retain him my man.
Yeah he was sick.
Still remember his stellar goal against Manchester United in the 5-3 game
Fair enough then, I need a better example. But you know what I mean?
I do, yeah.
I donāt think anyone is ever going to have a Pires or Nasri (canāt think of many others) bullish stance who say āArsenal is the only place I want to goā
Marquee signings will be hard to come by.
We need a Georgie Graham style rebuild from the late 80s
Yeah. Plus, timing. Teams have different needs.
Anyway, I doubt the difference moving to any of the Top 6 in Prem is as big as some think.
Maybe Tottenham are a little behind the others but all 6 can be attractive for the right money and given assurances in the football pitch(playing time etc.).
Heās ours!
The dream was fun while it lasted
Thereās smoke coming from various different sources, thereās clearly something going on here
According to this heās on 65k a week so just shy of 200k a week if thatās to be believed
Stats man with links to the club seems to be against this signing
Interesting take, I think Iāve downplayed Partey in the past too. I can see where he comes from although he overreacts a bit.
He is a player that Arsenal are missing. That all-around #8 that with great physical attributes.
Heās 27 now which is prime age - the cost of players in this bracket is the least value for money.
In an ideal world where there are plenty of young CM options out there and given our need to be astute in the market, this is a player we should not be splurging on.
Signing him on a big 5 year contract means he will inevitably be another player we keep until the very end of his deal with no sell on value. This has continually hurt us. He wonāt be worth anything near Ā£40-Ā£50m as a 30 year old, and he wonāt want to go anywhere if heās on a massive salary.
Doesnāt make sense from a financial point of view at all, but we are so piss fucking poor in central midfield that we need to do something major to upgrade this area. But I feel this is a bit desperate - the financials donāt make sense based on the figures being reported.
The age thing might not be great but Iām surprised his Stats arenāt so good since he passes the eye test with flying colours.
Every atletico game Iāve seen (mainly the big games) he has been immense, starting with that 2nd leg against us in 2018.
So is it just the age thing?
We should have went harder for guimaraes in jan
Ahhh the stats guy Ted Knutson. Who was so in awe of this guy again?
If he did his homework he knew we have Pepe, Nelson, Nketiah, Torreira, Saliba, Tierney, Martinelli, Guendouzi as 25 years or younger players. That is without whatever young players are going to be added. Sokratis, Ozil, Luiz and Mustafi are out of contract soon. The whole age thing solves itself. Some experience added to that might be what is needed anyway.
Yes. It does frustrate me that dumb c*nts like this, who act really arrogant, are seen as people with authority and able to make a living from thisā¦
