Thomas Partey (5)

Yep if you’re right you get your dues. If not prepare to be clowned.

Seems reasonable to me.

Hows this going?

doesn’t seem like I was that far off. We only have 66 goals in the league. How many did we manage in all comps?

Brother, we scored 9 past PSV alone.

Remember this! Obviously if I have got it wrong, I’ll hold my hands up.

Hopefully, I will be still around for the adulations and the piss takes.

poor fitness record

People just say anything.

If he is willing to stay for one more season, it’s a no brainer, despite his wages.

Even someone like Rice struggled to replace Xhaka and same can happen to Zubimendi

A transition season with Zubimendi and Partey sounds pretty ideal to be honest.

Partey has had a bad injury record. That should factor into considering whether to offer a new contract and how much we offer the player.

Yep. I don’t expect Zubimendi to adapt instantly so a season where Partey remains would be the best thing for all involved.

Do you think his fitness this season has been pure luck?

2 of the last 3 seasons he’s been available for basically every game.

Just an exaggeration perpetuated. He’s had 1 really bad injury and a few niggles in about 5 years now.

No but I think with any player you have to look back at past seasons in terms of both form and injuries.

Hold on you can’t slip this in here. He’s been a top midfielder in this league on a consistent basis.

I’m saying that this is one of the things you have to consider. I agree he has been a very good player for us. Injuries have been the main thing, but I also think he has a tendency to make mistakes.
