Thomas Partey (5)

She’s posted text messages from the detectives working the case as well :person_facepalming:t3:

With the number of sexual assault cases against footballers in the last 6-7 years, I am surprised any self-respecting woman is even willing to put themselves in that spot again.

Hope she gets the necessary help.

Her NDA said she could pursue this legally and with the FA but not in public domain. It also seems to have allowed her to share this publicly in the media and social media but would have to return the money.

It also restricted Partey from sharing details publicly.

She has now seemingly spent that money and shared it on social media as she claims she will now be putting herself in 6 figure debt…

It was reported that there are two different women. The incident that this woman is talking about happened in June 2021. I think it’s unlikely given her actions over the last +12 hours that she has another case against him.

Fucking hell…

I don’t know. I think she has the April and June 2021 allegations. The police statement said those were from the same woman, who is different than the June 2022 alleged victim.

It’s weird that she would do this with an outstanding allegation that hasn’t been dismissed but maybe she knows that one is unlikely to produce a charge for whatever reason.

The April 21 and June 21 is the same person.

So she was allegedly raped by him in April 2021 and then went on holiday with him in June 2021 and invited some of her friends to join them.

There is then a separate case from June 22

If this is true lol

Wow. That’s just insane

On her Twitter she’s saying that what happened in April was considered rape but she just didn’t know it was rape and that it was the police that told her she was raped in April but she just didn’t realise it

Yup - and the evidence of the rape is text messages between her and a friend. I imagine that will not progress either if there is no other evidence to put forward.

I guess it then all comes down to what evidence there is for the June 22 allegations

I got plenty of work done in like 3-4 hours, came back and she is still yapping.

Christ almighty, I thought I was the obsessed one with Twitter.

She’s almost done…she definitely should seek some counselling or more counselling

Regardless what happens/happened the damage is done and the club cannot under any circumstance play him until the case is unequivocally put to to bed.

He needs to be suspended indefinitely until he’s found innocent because the club is getting absolutely dragged through the mud right now, some pretty painful reading online in terms of what it’s doing to our reputation.

And if it never gets to court because he faces no charges then he disappears into the abyss?

Some of twitter have found him guilty, so lets terminate his contract

If he’s not even charged there’s no grounds for any action against him.

Unfortunately I think that’s what will happen. That’s exactly what happened to Gylfi - his contract was paid out by Everton this summer and now he’s playing in Turkey.

Even though he wasn’t charged with anything he never played for Everton again because the potential reputations damage was just too high.

If we don’t suspend him we’ll be branded as the club that supported a rapist and in this day and age that is commercial and PR suicide, even if he’s innocent.

It’s how the sponsors or partners react that will have the biggest say I think.

100% this…

If she targetted the sponsors as opposed to the FA/EPL, no doubt his contract would already be terminated because they wouldn’t have any incentive to consider his innocence/guilt, they would simply disassociate.

I think it is more than this.

Ronaldo had very similar scenario but he sells a lot of shirts & merchandise, so no one batted an eyelid. Gylfi, no disrespect, no one cared about him commercially, so he was dispensable.

Not sure where Partey falls between Gylfi and Ronaldo in terms of commercial importance, I guess we will see come next Friday (maybe tomorrow) and then when the police reach a decision on the alleged second victim
