Thomas Partey (5)

Well there’s no disadvantage to him playing well is there? Regardless of what happens

I trust the club’s judgement, Arsenal would generally err on the side of caution with these things I’m sure

Would be something if he’s charged right before the season starts, wouldn’t it?

We’ll have SMS and Tielemans by then, don’t worry :smirk:

The hell we will. We’ll most likely sign Zina and another player(probs a winger).
Anything else is dependent on Xhaka now that Partey is back in.

I’m just relieved the club is standing by him and an innocence to proven guilty stance. If some on here made the decisions he’d be suspended pending the investigation.

Saw someone I actually followed on Twitter say he needs to be shot on sight. Some people aren’t well in the head.

I probably jumped the gun; but the likelihood of two women falsely accusing him of rape over the span of 12 months seems statistically unlikely. But I do agree the club has probably done the right thing.

What exactly do you mean by this?

It’s the new xLoTRA stat.

Less so if it’s found those two women are connected in some way. But we don’t know anything at this stage really, so best to just follow the innocent until proven guilty process, and trust that the club hasn’t yet seen any evidence preventing him training

Partey wrecked him haha

Yep, he didn’t have it on against Orlando either.

Remember when Wheatley said Partey went to Germany when in fact, he didn’t?

Well, the backlash cost him his new job it seems. :grimacing:

Probably a bit more to it than that. Angry twitter people are mostly anonymous dweebs with little power to influence anything.

No offence to said dweebs.

Really?

Nah, that’s nonsense. Twitter and social media in general hold too much power, hence why anyone at anytime can get cancelled if a mob is after you.

This guy sent an email to his new employer:

I presume others did reach out to his new employer to make a complaint as well.
The backlash was massive that day. I think the gunners subreddit are now not allowing stuff by Wheatley being shared either. Wheatley went radio silent and deleted all posts about his job.

Bit sad because he was pretty good for Arsenal news. Got ahead of himself over the Partey stuff and it completely backfired.

People have way too much time in their hands.
I would be embarrassed to even type a single sentence of that mail
