Things you love

Ive had three and a half years of doing washing up, these opinions do nothing to dampen my happiness :grinning:

Only three and a half years? Spoilt brat!

I’ve had a dishwasher since I moved out of my uni house but have always done a fair bit of washing up by hand due to the fact that I don’t like putting pots and pans etc into the dishwasher.

When our electric/gas ran out and we had to do the washing up in cold water in the middle of winter that has to be one of my grimmest memories from uni.

Our kitchen was a shite extension built by the landlord and his mate and it had no insulation or central heating and so some winters it would literally drop down to 4 degrees in there. Our olive oil would turn solid in the kitchen and we’d have to get a knife to scrape it out and then it heat up first before being able to use it.

Living in that house was a lot of fun as it was 6 lads from the same uni football team but by God I do not miss it.

We have had a dishwasher for a good few years now and id never be without it.
The time it saves is ridiculous, and you cannot put a monetary value on your own time.

Yeah, I really don’t get people saying loading it takes as much time/effort as actually doing the washing up, cos it just doesn’t lol. If you put a dirty item into the dishwasher directly after use it’s no effort at all to then pop a tablet in and turn it on once it’s full, far less effort than manually washing up a dishwasher’s worth of dirty crocks.

I’ve a dishwasher and an electric shower. I basically have no need to ever have warm/hot water and I’m pretty convinced that has saved me thousands of euro over the years.

Yeah absolutely.

The time to fill and empty it is a fraction of the time unless you literally wash up individual items immediately after use.

Shitty uncropped screenshots. Can’t get enough of them. Always check out what % the battery is on :xhaka:

I love how @Darkseid and @SRCJJ get likes for their opinions all the time. Because they always sound like they know what they are talking about.

Spoiler alert for those who don’t watch football or who are too afraid to disagree, they are always wrong

To be clear, I’ve given you that like because it sounds like you really need one right now.

Klarna.

Like everything else if you use it correctly and can afford it but don’t want to pay for it in a lump sum its a brilliant app.

Used to use Klarna a lot in Norway, very different use over there though, here it seems like a vehicle for expensive finance.
