He should be an agent or sporting director and forget trying to be a coach.

Haha that’s brilliant!
Didn’t realise Titi was a stakeholder in Como.
Gallas is truly in his unc era
Thierry on the new Stick to Football episode. Good watch, especially when he talked about Arsenal and where we need to be and what needs to change.
Brilliant episode. Thierry has such an aura to where the room just sat and listened.
The King will forever be goated.
See he’s questioning if it’s training that’s leading to all these hammy’s
Thought Henry was very fair in his assessment. Had got the impression that he wasn’t particularly fond of Mikel in the past, but he gave him a fair amount of credit on the Overlap.
People have been saying the exact same things for months on OA, Reddit, X etc and just get shut down/made to look stupid for even suggesting it lol.
Maybe what actually made them look stupid was how they said it.
Nothing he said is unreasonable
Agreed. It was a reasonable take from Henry, even if it was riddled with sly digs at Arteta.
The lack of finals and trophies is something that gets swept under a rug by alot of Arsenal fans who prefer blind optimism in building a side that “might” win titles down the line
I hate to say it but pretty much anytime he speaks about Arteta if you pay close attention there are sly digs, I think some part of him feels he should have his job.
I love Henry like we all do and some of what he said here was correct but fundamentally just like Gary Neville, this is a former pro who has failed hard at management and therefore a lot of their criticism of managers contains an element of bitterness.
There were no digs at Arteta IMO, just facts. He’s just being genuine, that after these many years, Arteta and Arsenal don’t really have much to show for. I thought that was honest and upfront, unlike Keane and Gary who found it hard to speak their minds when their friend Ole was manager.
I also liked what he said about our injury crisis and how many were hamstring related and that we needed to find the root cause because we might get new players and they might get injured too and that will leave us exactly where we are now, and that cannot be an excuse again.
LOL
There’s nothing genuine about his assessment of Arteta, never has been. He always takes an outright negative or highly sceptical view of Arteta and his side, prompted by other losers like Neville and the shit stirrers at Sky. No other Arsenal legend toxifies the media narrative against Arteta like this.
It used to be you couldn’t call Henry out on his BS without looking crazy by critiquing a legend, but it’s an undeniable pattern now and there for anyone with a brain to see.
I don’t know why he has it out for Arteta, but the fact is, he’s been subtly sending indirects and taking sly digs since 2019. Seems obvious to me he’s very resentful towards KSE because they never sought to involve him with the club in any kind technical role post Wenger, Henry tried to hijak misguided fan anger towards KSE by publicly getting into bed with Ek rival ownership bid so he could backdoor his way into the club which (like of things Henry does in football, ultimately failed) and as a result, he takes shots at Arteta by proxy, to try feed support frustration to undermine ownership.
In addition to being passed over for the Arsenal job, I think he’s jealous and bitter towards Arteta on a personal level. He’s a failed journeyman coach with no success in coaching, whereas Arteta, with a lesser background, managed to turn the club around and win a trophy. Henry probably doesn’t rate Arteta’s spell playing at Arsenal and thinks his legendary status should automatically propel him into the Arsenal job. ![]()
