Were you watching an anime with 30 episode or 1000?
I used to have the same opinion of anime (I’m also a comic book addict).
I realized anime is pretty much cinematic cartoons with adult themes. The storytelling can be fantastic. Way less formulaic than the typical slop Hollywood serves up.
That’s really it. It’s just cartoons(anime) and comics(manga).
The main difference is the story.
There’s obviously some repeating themes in certain categories but there is a wide variety of work out there that’s distinct from one another.
It’s about finding the right story for it to click for you.

I struggle to think of players who actually improved after leaving Arsenal. Andy and Ashley Cole might be the only ones. We certainly had Henry’s best days.
RVP had one good season for Man Utd but again, I think we had his best years. Many have left and won honours but few left us and improved as players.

Edelman can barely keep a straight face saying an Arsenal board let down an Arsenal manager.
Giroud, for honours alone but he won those by being efficient - that’s recognising he wasn’t a police player either. Ismael Bennacer did well initially on his move to Italy, and had a lot of links to good clubs but not sure what he’s up to now. There must be more along that sort of level - the likes of Iwobi have had good PL careers, Willock maybe but fitness seems to have plagued him.
Most other players that left for Barca either kept their form or declined.
Ayden Heaven perhaps? Best CB in the league according to some
