Sounds good to me!
Doing similar, except I’ve not got a beer, and a daughter instead of a dog. Still, positioned my chair perfectly to lazily push her in the swing with one hand while I bask in the sun
Back home in Alberta now. Gonna be 27 this p.m. so I’m at the ready with the Urquell.
Most boring thread on OA.
Muting you scrub meteorologists.
If the weather was an Olympic event the English would win gold every single time.
If you think the English are bad wait to you experience us we get it even less than they do.
FIFY
Ye might get silver there tbf. Think we have you beat.
I don’t think the Irish have beaten the English at anything have they?
7-5 us in Eurovision wins innit
I was upset to recently find out that they drink more tea than us.
Might not recover if anyone produces proof they’re more obsessed with bollocking on about the weather than us.
Ignore weather apps for UK weather this weekend. A hot, humid, thundery spell ahead but some places will miss out on storms. Given the uncertainty those apps will be changing their mind every few hours.
If you’re doing weather dependent outdoor stuff, I’ll try to remember to put more detail on it later in the week.
Rather apt given our lightning bolt away kit is out next week.
Looks like pretty much anywhere in the UK could see a thunderstorm and/or a torrential shower from this afternoon through to Sunday.
Most will be surface-based homegrown single cell storms. However there’s a big risk that places to the East of London will see an imported supercell storm tonight. There is likely to be a secondary system of torrential thundery rain moving up to the west of it during the early part of Saturday morning affecting southern and “Home” Counties including London.
Be careful out there. Flooding will occur in vulnerable spots in the South and East.
Some crazy thunderstorms here in Suffolk. Never heard anything like it.
@Wivenswold hows it looking for August? Been a miserable end to July !
Not seen Wiven post much recently
Hiya,
Sorry, I’m taking a break from the online world at the moment. My brain has been a bit unstable due to Benzo withdrawal, I’ll be back soon. I was checking emails and saw your post.
Weather: It’s been getting progressively less fun hasn’t it? More unsettled weather over the next week or so, then it’s looking like it’ll warm up and become drier. Think we may see a few more thunderstorms before the summer is out.
See you all soon. Keeping my fingers crossed for Eze.
I watched a good friend go through that, and it wasn’t pretty. They were giving him valium, and that was messing him up even more.
In the end I got him some weed, and he threw all of the valium in the trash.
