The weather

It’ll have something to do with pressure no doubt.

Feet in a cold bucket of water as well as a clean crisp cold beer if you want to go the extra distance this summer.

This weather is great

No it’s not. Trying to get any jobs done in this weather is torture. My head is like a tap!

Sometimes I wonder what weather people in Britain actually want

I will never moan about the sun, give me 50 degrees for all I care.

We want the sun for a couple of days, and then back to misery

Give me this April to October and I will accept what the winter gives me

I like it sunny, not too hot, with a nice breeze. That’s perfect weather.

Yes, Spain, Portugal and Southern France are in for some very hot weather but it’s looking generally warm over the rest of Europe over the next few weeks. The UK will warm-up again later this week.

The forecast for my week in Valencia is looking toasty. 33-36oC by day, 26oC over-night minimums.

Continuing to be pleasant here. The odd afternoon shower, moderate winds and high of 21.

Southern Alberta yesterday.

Snow forecast for the next couple of weeks. Must be unusual to have snow over central Californian mountain ranges this time of the year.

He might be from my part of the world. 28 is considered pleasant around here. Still a bit much to have that sort of a coat on but he might have a condition that slows metabolism or hypothyroidism.

Meanwhile, Southern Ontario. cf with Southern Alberta in my previous post.

I really do have some good luck on my holidays (excluding Glastonbury where I’ve had 1 completely dry one out of 6 visits).

My last few holidays have coincided with heatwaves in that part of the world, Barbados, Barcelona, Florence, Seville and Lisbon were all hotter than average throughout.

I’m off to Valencia on Sunday (thanks to several recommendations on here), daytime temperatures between 33 and 36oC with overnight minimums of 26 to 27oC. The average for July is 31 max, 21 minimums. Only one pair of trousers needed and they’re for the journey home.

That doesn’t sound very comfortable. That’s the kind of weather we have in India in most places around this time of year. We normally look to get away from such weather :slightly_smiling_face:

Anyway, hope you have a good vacation.

We’ll take it easy, none of that rushing about, embrace the afternoon “siesta” when temperatures are at their highest.

I love wearing kurta tops after discovering that they’re the best shirts to wear when it gets hot during a holiday travelling around Sri Lanka.

:oof:

Can’t offer you any heat relief in New Brunswick this week, either. Slated to be low- to mid-thirties all week. Humidex pushing that a few degrees higher, too. Enjoy yer hols.

I saw Rupert Lowe tweeting that marking the high temperature areas as very dark red was, essentially, woke
