The weather

I’ll try but there’s no agreement between the difference weather models over this weekend let alone the week beyond. It’s looking bang average or worse until the end of the month, though it could throw one or two nice days, otherwise, pretty crap.

Things you love to see from the Met Office on a Monday morning

Two weeks later we are set to go into our 3rd consecutive week of this and its to get even better. 20-23 every day next week. Yes fucking please.

I don’t know who’s weather we have stolen :joy:

Oak before ash we’re in for a splash, ash before oak we’re in for a soak.

Where I walk the dog I saw the oak out in late February, way before the ash trees, so hopefully we’re in for a summer like 2020 Covid

Very immobile weather pattern in the Eastern Northern Hemisphere at the moment, the conveyor belt of weather systems is a bit stuck so whatever situation you’re in tends to hang around.

This could bode well for some thunderstorms at times but mostly settled weather. If we get stuck in a trough of low pressure it could mean weeks of rain, so let’s hope high pressure sits where it is for the summer.

Please can this weather never end. Scotland with constant 20 degrees blue sky sunshine weather for 3 weeks in a row is incredible. People who genuinely prefer winter over this are nuts

Yeah shame it looks like rain is on the horizon for the bank holiday weekend

Far too soon to worry about the Bank Holiday “breakdown” as day 6 models for next Thursday aren’t in any sort of agreement.

While the Met Office have been bullish about rain appearing by the end of next week their latest model run indicates a hotter, settled spell at the same time.

Feels like the best spring we’ve had in a long time but we all know what that means for the summer :grimacing:

Looks nice, Calum. Are you on the coast or is that one of your lochs?

I’m off work and home so badger away.

Spring and Autumn are the best seasons, fight me.

EDIT: Spring is the best season, fight me!

Of the two I’d probably say Spring edges it, so no fighting necessary.

Not sure I was serious about fighting lol…but Spring is so good, everything is fresh, weather is nice but not too hot. What’s not to like?

The huge difference in daytime and nighttime temperatures triggers a lot of pain for me, so Summer is the only season that doesn’t suck for me. I used to love all the seasons, now I spend 3 of them hoping for unusually mild overnight lows.

This has definitely been the best spring since COVID.
