I thought you were gonna say Scotland win the WC.

Liverpool getting spanked by Dycheball
Man City looking flakey
Arsenal churning out results and have guys like Martinelli, Madueke, Gyökeres, Ødegaard, Havertz and Jesus on the fringes of coming back into the team.
I’m feeling good.

I’m still buzzing after getting home from the NLD…
Current state of the Arsenal…Most wins, fewest losses, joint top for goals scored, fewest goals conceded, best goal difference…Top of the league - let’s keep this going! ![]()
We finally have “team” to compete.
A team that can grind out results (a tie against bus parking City), a team that can overcome injuries and everyone else able to step up.
It was unfortunate to lose to Pool but that was an one off. Probably a wake up call for Arsenal especially Arteta. The team responded tremendously well after that game.
Just keep up the spirit and momentum, we are the team to beat. Stay positive and stay aggressive. This is our year.
Credit for Arteta to coach the team like a well oiled machine. One player down another step up. Two players down we have another two going to impress. Like someone said, we did not even notice the absence of Gabriel today. Censored the players’ faces and numbers, people might think we were playing the usual starting 11.
The team was well drilled, and now is the time to unleash them and be more unpredictable.
This is our year.
Today feels so different compared to the feels during the opening post of this thread, back in 2019. Oh how far we’ve come.
Reading the Liverpool and Man City subreddits this weekend has been WONDERFUL.
They’re all so resigned to us winning the league, it’s mad, I’ve never seen anything like it
Funny because the Gabriel injury sent everyone into frenzy and the media were seriously feeling another Arsenal slip and City to continue getting close.
Let’s stay humble and go one game at a time in the PL.
That Chelsea game will be huge.
When the open play goals flow massively ‘yeah but they would be near relegation for penalty goals’
Champions this season, mark it down.
Gyokeres still out ![]()
Late November
Favourites for the EPL
Favourites for the Champions League
The only team that may ask questions of us is PSG. The way they move the ball is incredible and some of the goals they score look unstoppable.
We should do our best to get as much advantage in the PL before those crucial CL games.
Obviously would be happy with the PL alone, as it’s the priority withouth a doubt. But this team can easily get both, if we’re in a good state and have a good team available for those quarter, semi’s and the final game.
We need to stamp our athority beyond the league right now. The moment has arrived.
Sensing a treble this season ![]()
Honestly, the only reason we got knocked out last year was Donnarumma, who is no longer there.
I’m actually keen for us to meet them at some point and set things right.
After 22 years we should be glad with only the League but 20 teams or so have done it to win both in the same season, why not us?
