I don’t think I’m upset that we’ve lost the league and been knocked out of the CL in the space of 4 days.

I know the City train has scarred people but the league is far from decided yet.
Would be ridiculous for either Liverpool or Arsenal to down tools with just a 2 point difference and still 6 games to go.
when you think about it how many times did mancity screw up the CL with their massive squad, we dont have the squad to challenge on 2 fronts. I would have loved to beat Bayern but at least we lost by a 1 goal margin not by 8.

Looking at the reality, we’re not ready for prime time yet. We’re still cooking.
We only have about ~15 players worthy of playing first team football and zero world class players — maybe Odegaard at a push.
Let’s use the summer to invest in some key areas and go again.
There’s nothing Mikel could’ve done tonight to salvage or help the players.
If Bayern don’t score that freak goal, this goes into extra time/pens.
We’re better than last season considering we’re back in the CL and still in the title race but realistically any club with Jesus and Nketiah as their striking options isn’t going to win either.
