The randomly nothing thread

I always see it in my corner shop but I’ve never tried it as I always thought it was some dodgy alcoholic drink I’d hate.

Will give it a try tomorrow and report back!

I feel like you and me have similar tastes, so I think you going to like it bro. Just be ready because it tastes different, like I said to Sham. Imagine your drinking the milk from a bowl of Frosties.

Don’t imagine this because it gives you the impression that the experience might be remotely pleasant.

Does anybody rate apple tango?

Cidona is the only apple drink remotely worth considering.

The only apple drink I fuck with is Poms. It’s Moroccan.

@wilshambition can vouch for it. That and Hawaii are :tongue:

Now this has me intrigued.

I do have slightly different taste buds, so this may end up being for me.

In Switzerland they have a soft drink called Rivella which @oompa is probably familiar with. It’s made from the liquid whey by-product from making cheese. It’s actually pretty nice and doesn’t taste too sweet either.

In Malta there’s a soft drink called Kinnie which is also really nice and quite a good thirst quencher. It’s made from botanicals and has quite a bitter after taste - imagine a sugary version of something like Fernet Branca, which is actually pretty good on a really hot summers day.

I love trying different local soft drinks that you can’t really get in other parts of the world, so interesting to see how taste buds differ culturally.

I want to call you all nasty cunts but I don’t think I’ve had a supermalt for 20 years so I can’t remember what it tastes like. I do remember the reaction though, which was why the fuck does anyone choose to drink this.

Yeah I agree Rivella is awesome tastes like ginger beer, funny thing is Supermalt is danish company now and brewed by Royal unibrew in Denmark.

What?! No way I did not know that haha

I definitely have to try it now, what a weird coincidence

It’s just Denmark being Denmark and providing more awesomeness into the world.

:joy::rofl: just watched it now, da fuq? Guessing that ad agency was high off something when they did that. Plus their pizza sucks, that local neighbourhood joint called “Doh meenos” is the only place to order from.

Its no surprise you also like John Lewis ads. Both their ads and Supermalt are sickly sweet shite made for people with appalling taste.

You know it bro, unbeaten stuff.

Here goes nothing

Interesting, I was not expecting this at all. I can see how this is made in Denmark as it tastes exactly like a very old school Danish dish which is a porridge made from rye bread and beer. Like that’s fucking crazy, literally took me back to being a kid.

I actually quite like it but don’t see myself having it regularly. Can see how it’s an acquired taste for people.

I wonder how this became so popular with the black population in the UK.
