I once sat in a room full of my previous in-laws. Iām talking father in law, mother in law, 3 brother in laws and some extended family.
My former mother in law brought me a big plate of foot. Iām talking jollof, suya, plantain and even a side of moimoi
She asked me if I wanted a drink I said yes please she came back with a supermalt. My eyes were bleeding when I saw it I opened my mouth and just said sorry aunty but I canāt drink that and the whole room got onto me and wouldnāt let me live.

The malt taste is bliss, very robust distinctive flavour and aftertaste. I had it alot as a kid in the summer thinking drinking out of a opaque bottle made me a big boy

Yeah Nigerians love supermalt, itās like a national drink for them (Iām assuming Nigerian from the Jollof and Moimoi). To be fair alongside Ginger beer, Nurishment and rum itās also an official Caribbean national drink.

Iām not a fan of it personally. I know a few Jamaican relatives that donāt either.

Yeah my ex wife was Nigerian but thankfully she wasnāt a supermalt fan. Whenever sheād reach for one at weddings and BBQs Iād side eye her because I knew she was just keeping up appearances lol. She didnāt like it herself.
Canāt lie I used to run through Nurishment back in the days until I realised having 50g of sugar in a drink probably isnāt very healthy lol
