Tried to understand this community, left even more confused.
They themselves are not sure what falls in trans community or not.
They really need to sort out their definitions.

I just told some of our biggest clients “Alright kids, have a good day.”

Maybe because they’re just people and they have different opinions and world views?

They shouldn’t have differing opinions on definition of trans or who comes under trans. If they are not sure, how will rest of us keep track.

If you also check Part 1, they admit it’s too many titles which is hard to track.

Why? You think sexuality is set in stone? You’re either A or B? Because that’s not the case. And why do you need to “keep track”. Just don’t oppress or discriminate based on sexual orientation and you’re good.

Hang on. An entire community can’t agree on everything? Good thing that the cis gendered straight community is so clear cut in all their thoughts and opinions.

well it’s nice you watched to try and understand it better  remember they haven’t had much time sorting it out since it’s been really hard for people to converse about up until very recently.

I don’t know about sexuality, but for gender there’s only two. Male or female and that goes for Trans as well, a male to female trans woman is a biological male who identifies as a female and vice versa for the female to male trans men.

Not sure why there has to be so much confusion and debate about these subjects. Especially since the people it effects is so small. You would think 99% of the world’s problems have been resolved and this is the only topic left, the amount of coverage it gets!

The main reason I see trans issues getting discussed is because of people complaining about trans issues getting discussed.

It’s almost like some people go looking for it to complain about.

Well actually hermaphrodites are a thing. Which I think is kind of a basis for scientific support for gender dysphoria. Hormones are crazy things.

Yeah… I don’t know why I respond to it anymore. It just makes me tired.

That video was great.

It was like a fucking SNL skit or some kind of spoof.

The gay guys with the MAGA hats, the trans person angry at the non-binary person, the non-binary person angry at the trans person, the black lesbian angry with the white gay dude…

It seems to me that within the LGBTQA+ (lol) community there is just so much emphasis on proving how much more of a victim you and your label are than anyone else’s… it’s so fucking stupid and a huge part of why a lot of people don’t take them seriously. They’re their own worst enemies.

“As a white trans straight woman, you hold a certain privilege that I as a black non binary lesbian don’t”

“YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH”

That starting :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: bringing back memories haha

Lol such typical shamrock reasoning and so wrong. People complaining this doesn’t come out of nowhere. No one complains about the economy being bad before it gets bad. You’re mixing up the order of events haha.

They’re not as crazy as you are making them out to be. In general we’re talking about an extremely human thing and then trying to reinvent the way of looking at what is 99.999% the case because of the .01%. It doesn’t make sense. It’s like if we decided to make a new classifications for brothers and sisters whose DNA match differed more than the typical and extremely prevalent percentage. Why? We’ve all agreed on what are brothers and sisters, just as we’ve all agreed on what is male and is female. (Is any scientist labeling animals as cis gender, or non binary lesbian, etc.? No. Why? Because it isn’t useful/isn’t necessary, and opens up a can of worms not worth opening) We can’t get overly pedantic about everything, there just isn’t time, that’s actually the whole basis for the function of our human brain.

The trans issue is entirely non-scientific, at least the way it is presented by the community. There’s no logical scientific point on that front, and the one you’re making certainly isn’t.

As you play FIFA 94/95/96/97/98/99/00?

No

I didn’t play any football games until Fifa 2004.

So there ya prick :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

In the context of the discussion, normal folks have a pretty solid consensus on what entails being a male or female.
Shouldn’t the trans community know what entails being trans?

Anyways, Sham’s response was totally disingenuous and facile as it is. The question wasn’t if the trans community agreed on everything. It was if they agreed on what being trans is. An actual comparable situation would be to ask if the male community agrees what it means to be male, and if the female community agrees what it means to be female. And the case is that 99.9% of those communities does agree about what those things are, and have less confusion marking male or female on their census forms than they do marking married or single.
