Remember him for Spurs and later Norwich.
Think he suffered with dementia last few years sadly.
His name’s in mortal though for that day in 1966. RIP.

Sad news.

Dementia must be horrible to die of.

RIP Martin Peters
A true legendary footballer .

This was expected but sad. Holic was a really sensible voice any time I heard him talking about The Arsenal. RIP.

Fucking hell! One of my favorite drummers of one of the best bands of all time. Had no idea he was battling with brain cancer. Today music have lost one of the greatest musicians and human beings. R.I.P.

Sorry, I thought you just said he was a drummer.

The guy was way more then that. He was a brilliant composer and lyricist. Not all drummers are limited like Lars Ulrich.

Well he was also the lyricist and a very good one.

Absolute genius of the drums. A musician who could stand comparison with any guitarist.
Sad and just wrong. Legacy assured.

I’ve seen Rush several times and they are one of the greats of rock music and he was one of the greatest and most influential drummers.

He wrote most of the lyrics and was as articulate as any musician I’ve heard.
That’s very sad news.
