I donāt think that is true. According to official protocol itās not even guaranteed that people will get a single day off work, canāt imagine theyād then flip to telling everyone to shut

I hope not. This is floating around an business WhatsApp group. 12 day morning period with things closing. Canāt imagine it. Donāt think sheād want schools to close either.

I was annoyed at the constant TV coverage after Phillip but at least I could take steps to avoid it. Shutting down society I imagine isnāt going to help the royal cause a great deal.

Yeah the mourning period until her funeral is standard. But itās not supposed to be for everyone to partake in like that. Given all the schooling missed during the pandemic, I canāt imagine anyone being an advocate for closing them again.
