I think DDG communication, ability to deal with crosses and his decision making is his biggest drawbacks. He’s asked to do a bit more for Spain and struggles to work with the system they play.
For me he’s an out and out shot stopper. A phenomenal one and the best in the planet at stopping shots. But as a complete package, I think he lacks.

Like you say when it comes to pure shot stopping there probably isn’t anyone better.
DDG is certainly low on confidence at the moment which doesn’t help, but I’ve always thought that he’s a better goal keeper when acting on pure instinct as opposed to when he has time to make a decision (i.e. whether to come out for a cross etc)
