The Other Premier League Fixtures Thread (old)

What’s the assessment on this Palace/City match? Have had it in the background while working so not sure what to make of it.

Mahrez’s touch is pure silk, he’s killed the ball beautifully a number of times in this game. Looks the main threat for City but Palace also showing threat on the counter.

How’s Olise looking? We’re linked with him

Been a great game for a neutral.

End to end

We should have pinched him from reading when we had the chance, kid was a known talent back then.

We’ve missed out on the Championship talents alot over the last couple of years

Just seen City had 74% possession and 14 shots to 3 haha. Sounds like the total opposite of end to end

:joy:Well tbf I just putting my head up when the commentator gets excited :joy:

Maybe not a good judge of a game that :eyes:

You’d be no good not trying to watch Robot Wars with Jonathan Pearce commentating

City don’t need a traditional striker? 14 shots, 4 on target no goals and could be behind in that 1st half

Ah, brings me back.

Yeah if we’re being real they’re just been getting by with their insane chance creation and being sturdy at the back. They just eventually get the goals.

Who’s their top scorer?

I think it’s Mahrez

Credit to Pep for adapting the team but at times they make it a slog and that may be their undoing in the end

City at their absolute best used to whip teams up like some cream

I couldn’t really comment on the English pundits as I haven’t seen enough of them only on the clips that are posted here, but is it the lack of education the general English footballer has?
In Portugal and Italy the pundits are extremely articulate and in no way biased.

No sub from Pep is bizarre

Vieira and Palace are gonna do this aren’t they. Gonna nab this draw.

Their first shot on target will probably be a goal the way it’s going

that pass and touch so insanely good - was offside and they missed in the end, but holy hell KDB and Foden

City have only managed 3 shots in the second half? That’s poor for a team so dominant in possession

Pep has been a doughnut tonight

No subs, really?

They’ve been due some poor results. They go on ridiculous winning runs this kind of result was inevitable
