People getting uppity about disabled spaces sometimes couldn’t care less about either whether the person parking is disabled or whether spaces are available for disabled people.
I got grief for parking in a disabled bay with my daughter using her blue badge in a supermarket car park once. The person who came up to me didn’t care about the blue badge and told me I should only use it if all the parent and child bays were full.

I occasionally read dreadful historical takes that try to argue the Maginot Line wasn’t a dreadful tactic and that France and Britain’s main error was that they prepared to fight World War One again rather than the more modern conflict that the Germans were clearly preparing.
