Man, they really hate you white cis males out there.
The one thing to take away from this is that it’s an unequivocal fact that a talented male athlete in the same discipline as a talented female athlete is always going to be better.
There is not a single professional woman’s football player in England who could compete in any of the professional male leagues in England.
There’s not a single professional female boxer who would find themselves ranked anywhere close to the top 100 male boxers in any division.
There’s not a single professional female tennis player who would make the top 300 male players in the world.
There are clear and obvious physical advantages for the male athlete that go way beyond just the idea that suppressing testosterone is enough.
The basic point I’m trying to make is that whilst nobody doubts this trans woman has worked hard to be good at swimming, they are in the position of having clear physical advantages over actual women.

I absolutely do know this. There isn’t a single female player with anything close to the required physicality to compete at a professional level with men.
Football isn’t a physical sport in every sense of the word but the disparity in strength and speed is too much to overcome.
I played on a 7 a side pitch with a Crystal Palace womens player at Goals in Bexleyheath and she was the worst player on the pitch by some distance.

Ash Barty women’s no 1 in tennis wouldn’t be top 100 in the mens game.
The reality is men are just stronger, hit harder, faster, fitter and more athletic in these situations.

We had a girl who trained with us and even played in some preseason games. She has over 40 international caps to her name (no I’m not gonna out her). This was in the late 90’s / early 2000 when the Swedish team was arguably the best in the world. She was hard as nails, fast and definitely didn’t make a fool out of herself. Mind you she did make a fool of many guys on the pitch.

Serena Williams is the best female tennis player to have played the game and she said any male tennis player in the top three hundred would beat her quite easily.
Also the Australian women’s football team played a boys under 16’s team and lost 7-0 and there have been several other matches between top women’s teams and boys teams where the same thing has happened.

I never want anyone to think that I denigrate womens sports. I know they train damn hard and they have to work even harder just to get public approval.
I commend them and admire the work they do, it’s something I can’t stress enough. I just want to point out the disparity in allowing male athletes to compete with female athletes under the guise that they’ve somehow managed to transition into a woman.
You are simply denying the biological and physical advantages that a male athlete will have over a female one. I’m very passionate about protecting the interests of womens sports and you basically shit on them when you allow a man ranked 300-400 to come and swim and suddenly be number one in whatever category / federation they’re competing in.
Using testosterone as a gauge is such a poor measure too. Yes, elevated testosterone is absolutely beneficial in sports. Yes testosterone is a pivotal sex hormone responsible for performance.
But having depleted testosterone levels does not suddenly eliminate the advantages that any man would have built up through years of simply being a man. Bone density, nearly decades of testosterone pre-transition, increased lung capacity, larger organs, these are just some of the advantages a male athlete can possess. It’s why I find it absolutely ridiculous that any trans woman should be allowed to compete in competition with women.
