The methodology behind that chart is hilarious, basically you are considered far right economically if you want low taxation, reduced regulation, smaller government, smaller welfare state, and freer market, and economically left of you want high taxation, more regulation, big welfare state, nationalisation, government regulated markets. BTW it’s all subjective qualitative measures, just an opinion based graph.
Btw strange no one mentioned how the pound bounced back after the ons admitted it was wrong on the recession call.

Once the US release inflation figures in October, it will be back to $1.15…

It happens for both sides of the coin though. If Labour or Lib Dems or any other party been in power, you would have shady content being chucked into the ether.
That sounds like a decent, basic summary of what it means to be either left or right wing economically.
What are the issues with the methodology, in your opinion?

I have to congratulate Truss on her interview this morning when answering a question about how tax cuts for the rich are going to help the poor.
She managed, in just a few words, to blame the war in Ukraine.
To be fair to her, she did blame the war in answer almost every question in the same way, so she is consistent if nothing else.
We’ve gone from Boris, who is a serial liar, to Truss who is clueless but both are determined to make the rich richer.
