Hah it was some wanky craft beer pub that only sold Belgian shit. They had pints ranging from something like 5.5 to 15 quid but the expensive ones were all like 12% so it was probably a good investment still.

That’s blasphemy and you should be ashamed. Belgian beers are literally the nectar of the Gods, I can’t think of a single nation with more of a masterful grip on the brewing process.
