I’m feeling frisky

Went 1 0 blades 22/1 ten quid.

My mate got absolutely done by the Watford result in the last minute #thoughtsandprayers

Ouch

:arteta:

We also shouldn’t lose sight of the fact that only a Tory cunt would put a tenner on a ten/eleven fold acca.

I actually consider this a fairly safe bet when we are leading in a match.

Only put this on as daft bet didn’t expect it to come off. Should have put more on it

Stuck £20 on Olympiakos to qualify at about 2.6 around the sixty minute mark. Also stuck a few quid on Auba next scorer at the same time, which didn’t pay out cos it was scored in extra time, fucking scumbag bookies.

Same but did £45. Easy money

Would have done more, but as is typical for me, I’ve had a shit Jan and Feb for gambling, so didn’t want to deposit any more than twenty five quid.

I have a very odd gambling pattern over the past two calendar years, which seems to be repeating so far in 2020. Total shit in January and February, making a loss in each month individually. One or two of the spring months will yield a small profit, the others won’t. Unless there’s a major tournament, there’s basically no gambling at all from May through to August. First few months of the season are unspectacular, and then in November but particularly December I have a mad run, make several hundred quid, and end up in profit for the whole year.

Happened for both 2018 and 2019 to the extent that I can say that I have profited from Sky Bet rather than the other way round. Its not big money, but satisfying nonetheless.

Sorry, that’s probably very boring.

Mine is very sporadic tbh. Lately I’ve hardly placed any bets but when I do I go for it. I found more success with large infrequent bets rather than chancing an accy every weekend.

I think it’s all about opportunity. Timing is vital in the new cashout environment of betting.

As much as I hated it, Emery was fucking incredible for my bank balance before he got fired, made hundreds of quid off betting on draws with both teams to score :joy:

That was definitely a case of betting (semi) big on just one outcome. Accas can be fun but they are a mugs game really, far too many variables to be a sensible way of betting.

I had a few quid at half time at 7/1, just before they scored and Olympiacos were still 2/1 to qualify even when they were winning so I put another fiver on.

I have won quite a bit this season on betting against us, after we take the lead, to either lose or draw.
If you put in Liverpool to win as well, in a double, it really is easy money.

I think my bet at the start of the season for us to finish outside the top four is looking fairly safe as well.

Fuming with Mi Colchester today. I had an 8 game both teams to score acca today. Had 2 teams left to score, Luton then scored a 91st minute penalty, meaning Colchester (who were at home) were the only team to let me down. Would have won almost £400.

I don’t know why I liked that. I don’t think it was your intention to get a like

We have been awful for a while now, swear we have only won 2 games in our last 8 games now.

Ah you’re from Colchester? Had quite a few draws amongst those games though. Hard game today so wasn’t necessarily expecting them to win, just to score 1 bloody goal!

Split loyalties as I’m a Col Ewe but also live near Cheltenham and want them to go up too
