If I took him seriously as a journalist I’d expect that sort of link to Ramsdale to be declared, but he’s a glorified blogger, and not even a particularly good one, so yeah whatever really.

I wouldn’t laugh at that.
It just shows how hard it is to maintain a high level of journalism and sustain a journalism-oriented business without advertisement in the current landscape.
I am not a big reader but I want such platforms that encourage quality reporting to flourish.
No wonder so many news outlets resort to clickbait to funnel as many ad views as they can to remain sustainable.

That’s a bummer. I really did enjoy reading some of their NBA coverage along with the PL stuff.
