It feels so strange to actually trust a defender to defend. When Tomi plays I just donāt worry about him doing his job at all. And that has been rare in recent times.

Fans are knee jerk in defeat, have split opinions on polarising players, love the youngsters who give 100% and think their club is shit in the transfer market.

If players in Serie A were that much better at defending than players in the PL then Lukaku would look like a donkey over there and a world beater in England.

His premier league goal record is crazy. Heās done it here and he did it in Italy. Itās just that at Chelsea he plays in a system that totally negates what heās good at. Heās very good in the way Conte used him but take him out of that system and ask him to do things like play with his back to the goal and eliminate the physical strengths that make him good and he loses his quality.
On the flip side I wonder why Salah doubled his goal output when he left Italy for the PL
My comment wasnāt really meant to be taken seriously anyway I donāt really rate many of the defenders in the world these days although I do think Italy still teaches defenders to be defenders first before attackers.
