Where has he actually done good work since going to Arsenal and onwards?
Remember when Big Weng told us all this was the guy that we should be giving the keys to our recruitment lol
Sacked everywhere he goes.
The biggest fallacy in football is that you need a top quality sporting director. No - you need a team of people who work together to make recruitment decisions. Whenever these directors are given too much autonomy they fail time and time again.
The only director I’ve EVER seen be successful at multiple clubs with lots of autonomy is Beppe Marrotta.
Look at that wanker that West Ham hired, that Dan Ashworth loser, this cunt, that parasite Parstici, Giuntoli, or Monchi… give these guys too much freedom and they fail.
You don’t understand, this is modern football.
On top of needing a world class sporting director how can I forget now you also need a progressive modern manager who has a system that he’s so strongly wedded to he’ll never change it even when his players clearly can’t make the necessary adjustments.
And you can’t sign a striker these days that only scores goals you have to sign one who can do 800 other things on the pitch with goal scoring not being the most important one.
And it doesn’t matter if your CBs lack positional and can’t tackle too well- if they can pass between the lines they’re the perfect modern centre back. It doesn’t matter that elite defenders of the past could pass and defend to a very high quality.
And let’s not forget no modern day system is complete without full backs that can tuck into the midfield and and goalkeepers who are so good with their feet that we don’t even care if they’re good at using their hands.
That’s a good thing for me. Provided they can actually do their main job, defending, to an elite level.
I knew Sven was not ‘IT’ when @BigWeng_4LYFE hyped him so bad.
No, that was just you being a hipster.
Thanks

I was all aboard the Mislintat train.
