It may or it may not have been a mistake to makes those subs. We will never know. It has worked in past games when he has gone 5 at the back at the end of the game but agree with others that it just invited pressure. However, in Arteta’s defence, we weren’t particularly good in that second half at keeping the ball either our midfield or attack, so he may have thought backs to the wall and we go defensive. Tierney for Zinny probably should have been made earlier. However, having said all that, I still can’t fault him for what he has done overall and we are still in a good position. Arsenal never do it the easy way, when we have done it, and it looks like that will be the same this season.

It definitely invited more pressure. If he really wanted Odegaard off (who had a stinker imo), he could have moved Zinchenko forward and played Tierney at leftback.
I think he froze a bit with the subs and waited for Klopp to make the first move, then he compounded that by making very weak subs.

I honestly would have liked to have seen Jorginho around the hour mark as an extra mid just to see if it could help us wrestle back some control on the game.
I’m not going to be too critical though, no manager is perfect and you can’t win them all.
