Super Mik Arteta

Wait what? You’re really saying Ole’s team from last year which had De Gea, Pogba, Rashford, Fernandes, Cavani etc was level with our team last year?

Yup…De Gea was awful, Pogba…feck me…did he even play, Rashford,…Injured, Fernandes…Penalties only, Cavani…More injured than Rashford, etc…stop making excuses for a TRULY dreadful manager ffs…

Ironically we are 7th in xg offensively. But 5th from bottom in xga. Genuinely a little surprised despite knowing that 2 or 3 games skew our xga.

Look all I’m saying is there’s a reason that team got to second in the league and it WASNT because of Ole…

And there’s a reason we finished a LONG way behind Man Utd…and it WAS because of Arteta…

I think you’re missing my point here so never mind. I’ll not waste my time

It’s not a waste…It’s all good fun…night night…x

Ole got 2nd but it was with 74 points, Ole did his usual average self and found a season where his usual self got 2nd instead of 4th.

There are no excuses.

He’s spent 200m
He’s had two seasons
We’ve got no injuries
We’ve got no European football
No League Cup

We’re playing the same uninspiring football.
Our attack and defence look as clueless and demotivated as they did when he first arrived here.

There are no excuses, he has to go or we’ll see our lowest finish in the PL.

Who are you replacing him with for what it’s worth

OA could do a better job.

We should all get a match each.

Problem is in a run of the next 6 games or so we might still end up within touching distance of Top 4… I don’t know what to say, but I am trying to avoid extremes on either side of this. He’s not weak enough yet for the board to take note of fan pressure. Maybe in a couple of weeks if things continue along a bad track, will have to see.

a finish between 5th and 7th will be hailed as progress and evidence we’re moving in the right direction according to Edu and Arteta.

The club will shift some names in the summer and bring some attackers in, Arteta will see out 22/23 with a contract renewal dependant on CL qualification. This is how it will play out, senior management isn’t going to sack him.

Squad is too good to go on a sustained losing spree big enough for them to sack his ass

If we finish the season with coneboy and he finishes yet again out the top 6 and he keeps his job I’m done with this club

I agree the board lacks the balls. The whole thing is a bit Frankenstein at the moment, things don’t fit. What I mean by that is we are quite high among massive spenders actually (thanks Arsene for helping to get Arsenal into that position), and yet we are one of the slowest to fire managers and take an approach of having to do something different with manager picks, like giving a rookie a chance and a whole load of space and time.

Someone’s pissed. Swear he ready to storm off when it got to Charles.

:ozil: Arteta as a player is in the class of such notable names as Francis Conquelan and Gabriel Paulista. He’s no where near a legend or even one of the great servants like Monreal or even a crowed favorite like Podolski.

Just an ok player for a couple seasons.

Some true Arsenal legends must be wondering why the fuck this fraud had the chance to be Arsenal manager, and manage this long

Apologies @Jay1967 but that really doesn’t warrant a new thread.
