Super Mik Arteta

Great manager.

The point being there is so much outside of xG that tell you how close a team is to threatening the goal that using one stat like xG as your only barometer is simply negligent. It’s a useful stat don’t get me wrong and better than a lot of what’s mainstream… but it’s no magnum opus of statistical indicators.

We’re getting there (lol). Three man midfield again today. Accept the ideal trio hasn’t played together yet.

Bit of a latex clad Michelin man look today.

After a rather shaky start against Mouldy I thought we gained a strong grip of the game on Thursday and the youngsters showed a strong contribution.

I listen to other players too, saying how much Arteta has improved them.

I understand the doubters on here especially after 3 league defeats early in the season but I still feel we’ve improved a lot under Arteta and that there’s still a lot more to come under Artetas leadership.

It may be more Athletico Madrid style rather than Real Madrid or prime early Wenger play but nevertheless it feels much better to me than any point in the last 5 years which have been a horrible time of decline before his arrival.

I even feel we had a much better transfer window with Raul and Emery gone versus Edu and Arteta. Just contrast the 100m on Pepe and Saliba versus the 70 odd million on Partey and Gabriel and the actual contributions made from those signings (although Pepe shows flashes of brilliance at times at least I agree).

It’s possible doubters fears will be proven right but right now I’m happy to continue my Arteta fantasy land dream for a little longer at least.

The fact that we can’t create consistently and that there is going to be at least one moment with a lapse of concentration is becoming a big problem. Leicester beat us like that and Aston Villa are on their way too. This doesn’t bode well.

Is Arteta a 1990s post title winning George Graham regen (Champ Man fans I’m talking to you)?

Not even close, George was a top manager, who gave us a great defence, and knew that up front, in Ian Wright we had a goal machine…Arteta would play Wrighty as a feckin winger…enough said!

Absolute clown of a “manager”

He’s got no clue how to set this team up properly to create chances. This is worse than Emery.

I’ve seen enough

Arteta Out

Looking really bad now

Can we wake up from this dream? Or should I say nightmare?

I’ve seen enough, he’s full of it and he is not the guy.

He needs to pack his bags and take Kia’s cuck Edu with him. We need a proper manager in place.

The dream is definitely a nightmare tonight

Yeah won’t be around come next season, played 8 won 4 lost 4, scored 9 and conceded 10 = mediocrity.

You can’t imagine it turning around quickly.
