He hasn’t been spotted training yet. I doubt he’s gonna start that game anyway.
Would be nice to have him on the bench though. We play CL midweek after Spurs and before City so it’d be nice to use him for rotation.

I despise and resent that 3 games into a new season we’re already onto international games after a summer of Euros.

I also find it weird that one week a player is being called a cunt and having all sorts of abuse thrown at him but is being cheered by the same mouth breather under an international shirt.

That’s why it’s difficult to support England when the team is full of players from spurs, Man U, Chelsea and Man City., especially watching the turgid, predictable and boring football that Southgate churned out
It doesn’t make it any better with our players being picked because they might get injured in some pointless friendly.
Who cares about meaningless friendlies anyway?
I mean, I’m not sure how a national team is suppose to look like then. Did you not support England in the 2000’s?
Not really.
England had Rooney, Neville, Terry, Ferdinand, as well as a few spurs players so I wasn’t really that bothered.

It might not be a friendly but it’s the international equivalent of the Europa Conference League which is almost as meaningless.

He wont be match fit though, so I’m not sure it changes anything for the NLD.
It’s a body off the bench if we need something more dynamic upfront.
