Expecting to see Havertz, Rice and Martinelli return so:

Raya;
Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori;
Rice, Odegaard, Merino;
Saka, Havertz, Martinelli

Away in Portugal is usually quite tough. This will be quite tight I think.

Could be catching them at a good time post Amiron

Both timber and cala need wrapping up in cotton wool for next weekends game at west ham.

So, Partey right back and Zinchenko/Kiwior left?

Si.

Jorginho at the base of midfield again with Rice and Ode ahead of him.

Take Partey and Jorginho off around the hour mark.

Could Skelly be deployed at RB to see out the game? Is he capable of playing on that side :thinking:

The worry with Timber is managing his minutes now he’s the only fit natural RB.

I feel we can score against them probably a couple of times. I also have a horrible feeling that Gyokeres is also gonna chew us up, and the fans will make their stadium a cauldron…so i feel draw.

Are we still on course to finish top 8?

We need three wins to do it I’d guess

Didn’t know Sporting were second!

Not a single person asked Arteta why he didn’t Rice, Havertz and Martinelli against Forest. -.-

Sporting 1-0 ft.

This is the one you’re most keen to know about, isn’t it :crazy_face:

Why?

Because he’s your boy of course! In all seriousness, I think the three of them come into the team on Tuesday.

Oh, is he? I didn’t know that. :rofl:

Arteta did imply that he was giving other players a chance because of how they’ve been training. So perhaps it was purely rotation though.

Sporting haven’t lost yet this season in the league or in the CL. 15 played, 14 wins. Only conceded seven goals.

With our track record in Europe, this will be a tough game.

Amorim gone, I’m quietly confident.

I will take a draw with no injuries. Girona, Zagreb and Monaco would be easier to get wins against. I think we’ll see a more controlled performance from us.
