Are they still using vBulletin?
Something similar called XenForo.
It’s nearly impossible to give your forum a modern look and feel with those solutions.

I’m using Safari as well and have never experienced this.
Have you tried all the usual tricks? On/off, Safari hard refresh etc?
Is the youtube embedding broken or just me?

Nope. We can make veiled threats about staying away from certain areas or else but that’s it
