I felt Jesu has been struggling v the big physical guys (since Lens). He hasn’t been really been winning the duals. But don’t really know what the Seville defenders are like. Glad he’s okay to start at least.
Partly. Havertz wasn’t playing well so deserved to be benched, but this is a long season. Rotation is necessary and after a few decent outings from the bench, he should see game time. Albeit not as a left-sided midfielder imho

I’m surprised he wasn’t brought back in for the chavs game, although Arteta decided to roll with Jorginho. I think he places to much emphasis on the latter being able to handle the away environment, rather that bear in mind the weather conditions and the way a porch team would approach that game.
If Partey was available Jorginho wouldn’t be in the team, it’s that simple. You then don’t go with Havertz and Odegaard away in Europe after already losing to Lens.
