Serie A

I think it’s more about the feeling of possibility within the league rather than a display of true quality (even if they’ll have 5 or 6 CL spots).

If you told me now that Inter collapse under the weight of their financial problems and finish in 10th while Conte takes charge at Milan but leaves by Christmas and Roma inexplicably finish 2nd behind Scamacca and Kvara scoring 50 goals combined for Napoli, I’d believe it.

That’s fair.
Like, I can definitely see Atalanta doing a madness next year with big teams being so inconsistent.

But who’s coaching them?! Surely Gaspirini is going to Napoli.

He shouldn’t. There are gonna be 9 European spot to claim in the end and Napoli can’t claim a single one.

Stay with Atalanta and keep the momentum going.

Fuck sake I had food in my mouth as I read this, now I’m wiping the floor.

Good on Gasperini.

Interesting appointment from Napoli. Expecting Lukaku to go there in the summer.
Big boost for Chelsea in their pursuit for Osimhen.

Conte is going to manage every top Italian club at this point ain’t he? :joy:

You think this will work out @SRCJJ ?

Think he should have been the main candidate for Milan.

I know but do you see him doing well at Napoli?
There’s players there he can work with there I think and I feel Napoli will be busy in the summer.

Milan gone to shit since Maldini left.

Gazidis you gonna do something and get them a to coach or what?

Mother of match-fixing, Torino are somehow the bookies’s favourites to beat Atalanta away.

Italian football at its finest.

Torino nothing to play for either right?

I recall them saying they had a slim chance of europe when they beat Milan but looking at the table now it must be over.

If they stay 9th, they may get a European spot.
Napoli is right behind them though.

I don’t think enough people would bet on Torino for their price to go down so significantly. Screams of someone knowing something about how Atalanta may treat the game.
As far as I know Gasperini isn’t the type of person to take games lightly. He may rotate a bit but he’ll still go for a strong team and will aim to finish as high as possible.

Jesus Christ Scamacca, outrageous strike.
What a fucking player.

Atalanta are incredible.

Roma have now officially lost the CL spot that they were temporarily gifted by Atalanta after winning the EL before Atalanta themselves took it away from them by beating Torino and guaranteeing they finish 4th or higher.

Roma didn’t deserve it anyway.

Napoli have also lost the opportunity of claiming a late European spot after failing to beat Lecce and climb to 9th(given Torino lost).

Napoli didn’t deserve it anyway either.

Napoli’s timid season is so weird after they balled it last season.

It’s probably the worst title defence I’ve seen since Chelsea when they finished 10th.

It all started by letting Spalletti and trying to replace him with every bum manager they could find.
Fucking Rudi Garcia you know, the guy who was sacked by Al-Nassr.

Imagine us parting with Arteta after he wins the league and we replace him with Nuno Santos. That’s the equivalent.

Scalvini ACL during the pointless rescheduled match against Fiorentina on Saturday.

Right after he announced himself to the world in the EL final. Could’ve been one of the standout players in the Euros.
