He was definitely part of the problem. He sucked all the air out the room, stunted the development of the team and really fucked their finances.
Ok if Allegri is struggling to get Juve top 4 on his return then he certainly wouldnât have done it at us in the stronger EPL.
@SRJCC looking spooky for Abraham, 2 goals in 10 games
Going how I thought it would for him.
I donât think the assertion is that it was his fault they played badly but his signing was a catalyst for their downfall. They spent way too much on him (nearly ÂŁ100m plus astronomical wages) and it in effect impacted how well they could strengthen in other areas.
It led to the Marotta dismissal and eventually Allegri leaving.
Itâs not that he was the reason they played bad, but he was a huge reason Juventus are years removed from the great squad they had around 2015. They lost sight of the world class squad building they had and effectively had to do shit like sign Danilo and Arthur to balance the books. Signed shit like Ramsey and Rabiot on mega wages and big signing on fees.
Heâs a good player man, honestly I think Roma will be a good learning curve for him. I still believe in his talent
Weâll see bro but I just donât see it.
Subbed off early today after a poor display.
Is this the new Pogba clash between you two? Tammy Abraham?
Has Kessie signed a new deal yet?
He and Partey would be a monstrous pivot
My favourite part is the only playerâs talents they agree on is Sancho but weâll just keep that on the hush hush for now lmao
Oh now youâve done it buddy
Mkhitaryan subbed off at half-time for an 18 year oldâŚis this Mourinho trying to make a point again lol? Like when he played McTominay over Pogba.
@Gio seems to think his performance level has declined since the start of the season. Is that still the case bro?
He had a massive dip, yea. He was great tonigjt but several games he was extremely replaceable.
How has Kjaer been for Milan this season?
And in more general terms how has MĂŚhle been for Atalanta and Damsgaard for Sampdoria?
I remember Damsgaard saying in Danish media his form has been poor for Sampdoria because he doesnât suit their system.
Canât speak for Damsgaard but Maehle has been pretty average. As a whole, Atalanta cycle of success seems to be coming to an end. They look even more wide open at the back than usual and I think a lot of key players have lost form.
So I wouldnât say Maehle is necessarily at fault for his form but the 4 or so league games of Atalanta Iâve seen this season have been remarkably poor compared to previous years
Thanks!
Interesting, shame as it was fun watching Atalanta turn up in the Champions League and put in some good performances.
I also find it interesting that some of the best performers for Denmark are struggling for their Italian clubs. I wonder if there something about Danish grassroots football just means Danish players tend to be better in the English and German leagues.
People underestimate how difficult it is to succeed in the Italian league. Everybody equates the physicality of the premier league meaning it must be the only tough league but a lot of players can go from Italy to England and struggle and a lot can go from England to Italy and struggle.
I think morels than anything itâs the team setup that makes so much of a difference to getting the best out of a player with a mix of his mentality.
Maehle probably has a very good career if he comes to England but I think this season heâs been underwhelming. I didnât even really rate him previously he just blew at the Euros.
Think an English team can take a punt on him, his value isnât tremendous right now that the euro hype has gone
Milan and Napoli both 10-1-0, surprised how close to perfect both teams have been.
Think Napoli deserve more credit given they have the joint best defensive record in the top 5 leagues.
Milan have obviously done well too. But theyâve conceded 7 more goals than Napoli.
I expected Milan to cash in on Inter and Juve being down but definitely didnât expect Napoli to be doing so well. I thought the collapse last season was gonna affect them a lot but it hasnât so far.
Fair play to them.
