Agreed. There is absolutely no reason for him to join us. We probably cannot afford him and he wouldn’t want to take such a big step down. Would love him here but it won’t happen.

Bayern have offered Gnabry as much as they did Coman and he turned it down.
It seems like there is some kind of bad blood between him and the Bayern leadership, like he feels disrespected that they prioritized the resigning of Coman and Sane over him. It doesn’t seem like pure posturing and negotiating at this point.
My guess is that he ends up in Madrid.

I think Bayern just doesn’t value gnabry at the same number.
Both their contracts were/are due to expire in 2023 but Coman was extended in Jan 2022, alongside other “core” players like Kimmich and Goretzka.
Gnabry’s comments about being appreciated are absolutely valid and will play into his departure, imo. Plus they’re strongly linked to Mane
On this, I can see the link but I think Madrid continues to invest game time in Asensio and Rodrygo.
Can’t really see Florentino “settling” for Gnabry who doesn’t have superstar status.

I can see Bayern aggressively shopping Gnabry in a potential swap deal. Juventus would be my unimaginative guess.
Weird situation at Bayern all round really. Lewa wanting to go, Mane wanting to come and Gnabry possibly getting the shove. No agreement between all parties in any of it.
Dortmund could swoop
