Let’s see how long it takes for a pundit to use injuries as an excuse for spurs, on MOTD later.

When it’s us, pundits are quick to criticise, like against Brentford when Ramsdale made a mistake and Neville couldn’t wait to blame Arteta, saying that buying Raya was a bad decision.

But it’s strange that after we won, with a clean sheet to go top of the PL, he kept his mouth shut. :grinning:

He kept his mouth shut because Don Mikel was shagging his rear end with the win and shut out.

They’ll likely be 7 points behind us after next weekend, absolutely beautiful ( although be nice if they could get a result at the Etihad tbh )

Had to scroll a while before anyone in the comments said a single digit number. And even then, that number was 9

Injuries have hurt them badly but welcome to the club. They stayed completely healthy while other sides were limping and caught every other break possible for the first ten weeks of the season.

I think other sides are also sussing out Ange’s tactics to some degree. Its entertaining football for sure but basically suicidal. He essentially does what we do with Zinchenko except with both fullbacks at the same time and then occasionally sends them as vertical runners into the box. There’s nobody in the backline on either flank when they have the ball and if other sides can figure out how to deal with the onslaught of attacking players then its really easy for them to get out via the wings and find joy in transition.

Every team for found out, including Spuds

Wouldn’t be surprised if it was 5 losses… Only one that could ruin it could be West Ham? Really can’t see them getting anything from City

Most of my mates are spurs supporters and almost every season they say they’re going to win the PL title so it’s hardly surprising they’d think they’ll win most of those games.

Saying that, apart from Man City and Aston Villa, they should be beating the likes of Chelsea, West Ham and Wolves.

You have a very bad taste in choosing your mates

on 30th Nov? or 1st Dec?

The injuries for spurs were mentioned by Chapman in his first sentence and Jenas did the same.

Think Man United and Spurs will get 4th and 5th, both will qualify for CL, so doesn’t really matter which way round.

Villa won’t hold on.

True.

West Midlands shit.

I think it’s between Newcastle or spurs and the team with fewer injuries but spurs probably just edge it.
Aston Villa could be top six but Man U and Chelsea are the worst they’ve been in the PL so both will struggle to get any European place.
