I agree it’s not a done deal but with Kane doing a Lacazette impression they’re seriously weakened.
I think they have a much weaker midfield and defence than a few years back. Standard post Mourinho hang over stuff that only a lot of money they don’t have can fix.
Conte has them playing as well as they can but he’s not able to work a miracle with that squad and an out of form Kane.
Needs Arteta to get the most from his squad but I think we’re now better than them for the first time in a long time.

I know u have a soft spot for the boomer glory years and your boy who was the manager whatever the fuck his name was, but it’s a perfect era for the club to look back on because we are in a similar spot. An underperforming team, that when a top quality manager hire was made they went to the next level. As of now we’ve made a amateur hire who’s actually gone backwards and punching well below his weight.

No disreepect it’s just the facts, as SRCJJ posted we still had a quality team that wasn’t performing to the level it needed to. Graham was done clearly just like Wenger was done in 2017. We made the right hire that took us up a level back then thanks to Dein. Now we are a ruderless ship and hired a guy who’s claim to fame was being a cone collector for Pep Guardiola.
