YEESSSSS
Getting Oviedo match tickets next year
I don’t care whether he’s a coach, a manager for a junior team or just does stadium tours (selfishly I want the latter), he’s a force for good in the game, a shining beacon in a sport tainted by bad actors, greed, sports washing and rapists.
Bring him home in 2026.
Santi Cathorla, would love to see him back here again in some fashion.
Love how Vieira stays in the dugout so he can be level with Santi ![]()
Such a class little player

As for Santi, what a guy, just absolutely nothing negative to say about the little magician.
aaawww, everyone just loves santi.
Never seen a bad word in this forum for him either.
It’s rare that we all agree on a player. Adams, Henry, Vieira, Bergkamp, Rocastle, Cazorla, Wrighty are all in a small group of players who are genuine club legends regardless of their trophy counts.
Santi instead of Odegard in our current squad would kill
People consider Cazorla a club legend in that bracket of player? ![]()
He’s absolutely not a legend like those other players listed lol
If he’d played in a title winning team I think he’d be remembered that way. Not his fault his team mates were shit ![]()
Also, @Wivenswold whilst I grant that Patrick Vieira is a club legend, I have plenty of “bad words” for him and his annual quest to move to Man United at the height of that rivalry ![]()
I can’t understand how can Cazorla be thrown among those names?
Nowhere near that.
Could have been though. Wrighty was nowhere near Henry’s level but sometimes a player’s personality and will to win at all costs is more important than technical skill.
Wright played 280 games for this club and was all time topscorer at the time he left…that is incomparable with Cazorla.
I’m not even taking the 97/98 title into consideration.
For once, let’s stop focusing on stats and look at the emotion of the game can we? During his time here Cazorla forged an amazing relationship with the fans at a fairly dark time for the club. His injuries stopped him from becoming a statistical Arsenal legend but then relationships based purely on stats have no soul.
What you’re describing is a cult hero not a legend.
