Na that squad still needed a lot of work. We were totally uncompetitive in Europe and in reality not really close to winning leagues as evidenced by the Leicester title winning season.

Can you imagine him playing alongside Rice and Odegaard in midfield? He was absolute class. I loved watching him at the Emirates. Top tier player.

Maybe, but if the manager thinks it’s best for the team and the club then who really cares? Every transfer has the potential to limit someone else’s playing time.

Happy birthday to one of the best to have played during the Emirates Era. Still believe his goal against Hull in the FA cup final was extremely underrated, goal wise and context wise for the club.
Think he’ll be part of our coaching team in a year or so should Arteta be here for the next 2-3 years.
