Roméo Lavia

At the start of last season the idea that Caicedo, Lavia and Havertz would be sold for nearly a quarter of a billion pounds, would have been laughed at.

Very surprised Chelsea are still in for this kid despite getting Caicedo
Where are they going to play them all!!

You just know that bozo Boehly is doing this to stroke his ego and assert dominance over club with fellow American ownership, guy hasn’t got a fucking clue.

Can we have some consequences please, I don’t care what kind of loophole and PR there is, there is no way FFP isn’t being breached

There’s something about Boehly that makes him almost instantly unlikable, so it’s good that he’s gone to a club that suits his personality.
Classless and arrogant.

City gonna get about 12m out of this as well now, cheers Liverpool.

Mad to think Saints signed him for 10m, which wasn’t cheap for an unknown kid from city’s youth team and made 50m profit in a year (minus the sell on fee).

Did see City have a buy-back clause too, would be funny if they pulled that out last minute.

Sure Southampton have spent another £15m odd quid on another City youngster recently

Cue Chelsea buying them in 4 years for £150m

yeah, but they traded a talented player in Lavia for 45m Kalvin Philipps.
City would have preferred having Lavia as a depth option right now over 22m they would receive.

Orny confirming he’s chosen to join the Chavs, Scouse properly in the mud… Two times…

If we say Arteta/Edu sweet talk to our boys and had them buy their vision and planning…
Fucking Chelsea did a marvelous job to get Caicedo and Lavia to choose them over Pool.

Or they are just dumb and dumber.

In all honesty, I’ve never even heard of this dude before we were linked, the fact that he’s gone for £60m whens he’s not really anyone is fucking ludicrous.

What are we thinking of this midfield trio?

Lavia-Enzo-Caicedo

Where does it rank in the league?

Chelsea have worse midfield options now then they did three months ago under Lampard.

Caicedo is nowhere near a fit Kante and Lavia is closer to Loftus Cheek level wise than Kova and Mount.

Both are good players though who will improve.

All bullies, high energy due to hot heads, but not enough creativity

Hahahaa i luv it. Pool gonna ship goals left, right and center all season

I’m interested to see what Poch is thinking here.

It looked all summer like 4-2-3-1 with Nkunku as SS/10. But that always seemed a bit unbalanced.

A vintage Klopp/Liverpool style 4-3-3 with the fullbacks bombing forward into the wide channels and the midfield just winning and recycling balls could be the new plan.

Havertz out for 65m
Lavia in for 60m

Doesn’t scream an upgrade or smart move to me. Very different players of course but blown every penny they got back from Kai on a 1 season punt lol

£60m*

Sport makes no sense.

Nkunku is their Havertz replacement even though he was signed before they sold Havertz.

You are right though, Lavia replaces Mount I’d think. The Kovacic replacement is Caicedo and I’m guessing Enzo is the long term heir to Kante despite having a different style.
