Rodrygo

Thinking about it now, would much rather prefer Eze than Rodrygo.

Rodrygo is a better forward. Eze is such a good fit however. I’d actually rather Eze now provided that Jesus returns.

They’re already playing without a classic #9, so Rodrygo would do well for them up top.

How come Bayern is not interested in Rodrigo but they are willing to pay a big fee for Diaz

because apparently they said Rodrygo wants to stay at RM

Probably because they know they won’t stand a chance against premier league teams in for him

Rodrygo and Etikite incoming for Liverpool then

In which hotel/restaurant in New York did this talk take place? What did they eat? What did they drink?

Yeah man! Hate when they just leave us in the dark like this, leaving out the most important details!

Yeah man. Would be easy to stop the Rodrygo pursuit if we found out he drank bud light.

lol so Liverpool could end up with: Wirtz, Isak/Ekitike, Rodrygo…

Here’s hoping they fall apart defensively.

Well fuck me they’re going all out… Scouse bastards.

stop listening to that waster

Rodrygo, Ekitike and Wirtz would be a madness like we’ve not seen in this league before.

Let’s hope it doesn’t happen. And this probably means we have to do an Eze and maybe another player.

Regardless of whether Rodrygo stays at Real or goes to another team like Liverpool, if we abandon the pursuit we need to be bringing in Eze or some other player for the left. We can’t go into another season with Martinelli and Trossard, its just not good enough.

Rodrygo would be a big upgrade for us not because he is a sure thing or ready made world class player but because our existing options just aren’t very good. In comparison, Diaz was actually really good for Liverpool last year - 20 g+a in 2400 league minutes. Swapping him with Rodrygo will be a plus in terms of longer term squad building but he’d have to hit the ground running strongly to match that output.

Doubt we officially pulled out anyway, wouldn’t make sense to remove competition and lower the price for Liverpool.
