Rodrygo

That’s an old post, I was debating with @Flexo, I said Cunha wasn’t worth £75m and that should be a valuation for someone like Rodrygo instead.

I remembered about it when I saw Flexo’s recent post.
That was back when Rodrygo was a more prevalent member in the team but I never bought that he would cost that much.

Let’s keep it that way. We don’t want his bad energy.

Someone gonna come pay 100m for Gabi?

Not just about stats though. Rodrygo will add a dimension to our attack and free up space for others which Martinelli probably could never provide.

You got to look at Rodrygo’s stats when played on the left. He has also been better in the CL overall than in La Liga - he has 25 CL goals since joining Madrid, which apparently is only bettered by Mbappe and Haaland during that time period. A bunch of aggregate La Liga stats that is mainly him playing on the right or totally out of position as a CF doesn’t do him justice.

You’re that stats guy so I’m sure you’ll appreciate this:

He’s certainly someone that usually steps up on the big occasions.

If we get him i want him to score a hattrick away to mancity. With his hattrick celebration i want him to run past Pep smack his bald head and do a CR7 SUIIIIIIIIII in front of him and the bench.

So basically it all depends on what we do, what Madrid do and what Rodrygo wants to do. Move it to the player’s section @Bl1nk

Am I the only one who finds it weird how this discussion hasn’t happened yet?

Like, this will take less than an hour to resolve if both parties wanted it.

Someone’s delaying this, whether it’s Rodrygo, Alonso or Perez.

maybe he just isn’t top prio so we’re waiting to see what other deals we can make.

More likely, they’ve already talked about the situation plenty and journalists just don’t know shit.

I’m talking moreso about the Madrid/Rodrygo here. Surely that discussion should have happened already?

One or more parties involved are delaying that. Maybe they want to give it another go at the CWC.
