Robert Lewandowski

This guy already on 6 goals in 5 matches.

At 34 still ripping it up. Been dominating for more than a decade now. Arguably the best out and out striker in the modern day imo.

He’s got 9 goals and 2 assists in 5 starts as well. Guys just a total beast

Haaland, Neymar, Mbappe and Lewandowski are making a mockery of the top European leagues atm. Just total freak numbers lol

Think Neymar has 14 goal contributions in his first 6 games lmao

He’d be doing similar in the PL too, just a different class

Only guy that even Haaland was like what do I have to do to beat this dude lol

Lewa and Haaland breaking the farmersliga schtick.

Glad he’s hit the ground running at Barca, he’s hit 40+ goals for the last 7 years and well on course to do it again. Unreal numbers and crazy he’ll never have a ballon d’or to show for it.

He got massively robbed when Modrid (modric$) won it.

Tbh I think the biggest robbery was the 2020 award which was the covid-interrupted season.

That season he scored 55 goals in 47 games, 15 goals in 10 CL games and his team won everything including winning every single game they played in the CL.

But for some stupid reason they decided to cancel the award for that season.

That was a farce.

Was ridiculous that they skipped it that year, football didn’t end so why should the giving of the award? He had a fantastic year and deserved it no question.

Wonder if he was French would they have cancelled it

I forgot about that one, that one a even more scandalous.

Lewa was an absolute beast that season

Let’s be honest he would have had already a couple

16 goals now in 14 games and 11 in 10 league games. Surpassed fat Ronaldo’s starting record at Barcelona.

At 33 Lewa is still top class. Only Haaland is similar in output.

The only doubt I have on him is, if he can play in EPL, just like Messi.

Expected nothing less from the guy who was outscoring Haaland when in the same league

And he’s 34 btw, crazy longevity

Ah the old Stoke on cold mid week winter night

How are Eredivisie scrubs Martinez and Anthony doing? Not too bad I think.

I don’t see why Lewa wouldn’t dominate in the EPL as well. He has been scoring in the CL for fun as well

Two players who are not Dutch.

Neither is Lewandowski. You completely failed any logic here :joy::joy:

I didn’t associate Lewandowski with any league and I am not interested in that discussion.

I simply didn’t agree with Anthony & Martinez being reflective of the standard of a league. If I were going to advocate about any league, I wouldn’t pick guys who only spent couple of seasons in that league.
They were also not groomed as a talent at Ajax. Ajax was a pitstop for them.

They aren’t a great representative of Eredevisie.

Absolute rubbish what you’re saying.

So Dutch eredivisie players don’t go to bigger clubs and leagues?

You’re ridiculous :arteta:

I didn’t say that.
