Lol what? He joined Spurs in the knowledge Kane had been their main CF for a decade. A few weeks in the sun at the world cup isn’t going to suddenly make him think he should be ahead of him.

Tbf, there’s definitely a chance he starts feeling a star if he ends up winning the WC being Brazil’s #9.
Let’s not forget he tried forcing a move to PSG when he was at Everton. IIRC, there were real tension at the time and during a match Everton won a penalty and he almost had a fight with DCL and the rest of his teammates because he wanted to take it.
Granted, difficult to be a dickhead in the dressing room with Antonio Conte as your coach but I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes back to Spurs a WC winner and expecting to be given more spotlight.

I’ve had some bad bosses but I couldn’t imagine having to deal with Conte at work.
He was a player with a struggling side fighting for relegation. Tottenham were the only ones that were after him.
He can be a mainstay in this Brazil squad as a CF, that’s the only position he can get in this Brazil squad without a lot of competition. He will want to be a CF going forward and won’t be fine being pushed into other positions.
If he has a great WC campaign, his stock will rise and he will realise he shouldn’t stay as second choice, if not as an unjustified stance but as the right stance for his career.
How do you know this?
No ordinary fan knows that but out of intuitive sense, I can be fairly sure no sane big team would have been willing to pay 50m for him in the summer.

There has never even been a hint that he’d only want to play CF even if he is doing so for Brazil.

Clearly says that Tottenham were onlyone whopaid what Everton wanted.
I presume from this point onwards he would want to be one, after proving himself at oneof the biggest stage, coupled by that fact that the competition in other places are quite high with that Brazil squad.

Well obviously because that who he plays for but you literally said spurs were the only team that were after him when he’s actually said Chelsea and Arsenal were interested in so much that Chelsea made an offer.

I can’t believe I actually feel bad for the lad. Looks absolutely devastated. Cheer up kid, you went from the streets of Brazil to being a national superstar.
People shouldn’t forget the success rate of professional footballers. Only a few make it at the top level.
