Medial collateral ligaments is no joke, I already pointed out few days ago that it was going to be either MCL or ACL.

I don’t think he will be out for few weeks, more likely to be 1-2 months.

This situation is very similar to Odegaard in the sense, the timeline isn’t fixated.

Again, I hope I’m wrong.

My biggest concern about this is that he’s had injury issues before.
He suffered a serious ligament injury when he was in Roma Primavera, there were actually concerns that he wouldn’t be able to play football again.
He did manage to recover but his time with Roma’s senior team was hindered with subsequent injuries after.

See you in January, Cala

Is this the beginning of Riccahiro Calayasu?

Arteta is probably gonna be vague about it, just like the Ode injury.

That leftback position is just cursed. It was only a matter of time before it caught up to Calafiori.

His injury issues are a big reason I’d much rather he played at CB as think his body is better equipped for it. But we’ll see.

Why the fuck are we blowing big bucks on a guy with a history like that? It’s not as though we’re short at the back.

Because Arteta is too scared to spend money on attacking players and feels more comfortable building a squad of defenders. /s

We have Saka, Martinelli, Kai, Jesus, Trossard, and Sterling as front 3.
6 players to cover 3 positions.

We have Ode, Rice, Merino, Partey, Jorginho, Ewaneri for midfield 3.
6 players to cover 3 positions.

Excluding the freak injuries, we have sufficient players everywhere, and a lot of our players can cover multiple positions.

There is no right or wrong to buy attacking players or defensive players… just a matter of choice.
We could have spent the money on Osimhen, but one freak injury could change the context and narrative completely.

Just unfortunate that we had a few unlucky red cards, and bad injuries.
First Merino, Then Ode, then Timber, and then Saka, and now Calafiori.
Basically we have injuries on all three lines.
Calafiori’s transfer is not enough to justify Arteta being right or wrong.

@Pires I thought you did this.

Look at this abomination. Calum here begins the lineup from the attack

Is Tierney even eligible? Did we register him?

Tierney hasn’t even been making the bench ahead of Ceseri Maldini. He’s done here.

I don’t believe that was my question
