Calafiori is a stallion.
No reason you should answer this but curious what sort of level you were playing at? And also which sport? Just my own curiosity
It was soccer/football.
I played in college (low level).
Left knee was well after (age 28) playing in a weekend league. Right knee (42) was playing pickup (like 5 v 5, small goals) at one of my son’s practices on an adjacent field.
Doctor for the first surgery told me that I had been “damaging” the knee all the years I played soccer/football and wrestling. You rarely just “tear” one of your CL’s, it’s been accruing over the years.

Aura fixed his MCL
all bullshit about crying and serious injury.
at least he can fun and change direction (from picture), nothing serious.
I already asked, was there a picture of him crying?
was it sweat or tears?
Well Arteta did say that he was “emotional” after the game. Could have been tears of joy at playing at the Emirates
Did he say he was emotional?
I saw the quotes online but from the video I heard “it was a bit emotional” and in the context of the group not having a training session yesterday.
come on… you know it is (tears of joy) BS…
He said “he was a bit emotional after the game”.
That’s what I said right away!
Not sure what the audio equivalent of Specsavers is
Also specsavers
LOL. You could fart 50 miles away and get an earful with that.
Absolutely love this. Arteta inherited a squad full of bottle jobs and players who didn’t understand what was required from them and what it meant to play for Arsenal, and he has now built a team full of passionate professional players that give everything for the badge and the fans. I love where we are as a club atm!
Agreed. As an Arsenal fan, I’ve been longing for the day when we see another William Gallas at Birmingham incident
Footballing cliches.
Not commenting against your post. Just taking an opportunity to say how baseless that phrase is.
After what we witnessed during the early Emirates era, No player gives a shit about the club or the badge. We are just well set up for successful careers, and that’s why players play 100%.
Extremely cynical view that. There are players that have stayed at one club through their career, even when they had opportunities to move. Totti at Roma, Maldini at Milan, Noble at WestHam, our own TA. You can’t say these players didn’t care about the badge/club.
Maybe it’s a dying breed, and there might not be a single player in our squad today that we can say that about but it wasn’t always like this.
